IE Expo China 2026

From April 13 to 15, ECOFES Engineering participated in the 27th IE Expo China 2026 in Shanghai. The event is a major industry gathering in Asia and a key global hub for environmental technology. We came away with exactly what we needed – up‑to‑date market intelligence and promising business contacts.
Here's what the exhibition gave us:
* A clear view of global trends in water treatment, waste management, and sustainable green tech.
* Promising suppliers of equipment and components to upgrade our own systems.
* Exploring possible tech partnerships with Asian manufacturers.
We focused on three main areas:
1. Water technologies
We took a close look at membrane systems, electrolysis units, and modern reagents. What really stood out were energy‑efficient solutions for desalination and industrial recirculating water treatment – innovative and impressive.
2. Digitalization and automation
We explored cutting‑edge water quality monitoring systems based on AI and industrial IoT.
3. International pavilions
The Hong Kong Pavilion was a key focus, with 10 companies showcasing high‑tech solutions for water treatment and waste management.
As a result, we came back with new contacts, a clear sense of key industry developments, and several proposals already being worked into our upcoming projects.
